The Ask
In this service design project, the insurance company The Hartford, approached Fjord to help them discover and find ways to solve small business owner's (SBOs) major pain-points while navigating the world of small business insurance. As result, the major goal of this five month project came down to answering one question:
How can The Hartford become a trusted partner to small business owners and deliver an exceptional experience?

The current state journey is key to Fjord's methodology and a central point of a Rumble™, which is a co-creation workshop that the team facilitates involving stakeholders and customers.
Our primary challenge for the Rumble™, was to find an approachable framework that put stakeholders in the shoes of the users, while at the same time creating a common language for participants to discuss difficult topics.
